Who should take Skin Even IQ?
Skin Even IQ is for everyone who is concerned with pigmentation, also known as uneven skin tone, brown spots, age spots and sunspots. All Fitzpatric skin types from I to VI are at risk of pigmentation, but darker skin tones and middle-aged women can be more susceptible to this challenging skin condition. Skin Even IQ would also be suitable for anyone experiencing post inflammatory pigmentation (PIH), which is the discolouration left after problem skin.
What is pigmentation?
Pigmentation is a normal but complex process that determines the colour of our skin, hair, and eyes. It is controlled by specialised cells called melanocytes, which are found in the basal layer of the skin's epidermis. These cells produce a pigment called melanin, which is responsible for giving our skin its unique shade. When this complex process becomes unbalanced it can create pigmentation (Hyper = more, and pigment =colour), leading to darker patches, discolouration, and uneven skin tone.
Is it possible for pigmentation to get worse?
There are certain factors that contribute to worsening of brown spots/dark marks such as:
- Continued sun exposure without using any sun protection.
- Picking and squeezing spots.
Why does Skin Collagen Support not contain any collagen?
Our goal as skin researchers is to make ‘healthy’ collagen. There are a variety of nutrients which support the body to make skin collagen from the collagen we consume in the form of protein from our diet.
When you eat or drink collagen from any protein source it just breaks down into the basic building blocks that the body needs called “amino acids”. These components need to be reassembled to supply the body structures including muscles, joints and skin. For the amino acids to be reassembled into collagen, the body uses co factor vitamins, in particular vitamins A and C. These vitamins help us to make ‘healthy’ collagen from amino acids. Typically, we do eat enough protein in our diets to provide amino acids but sometimes we may not have enough of the co-factors to help convert them.
Is Skin Collagen Support suitable for vegans?
Yes – Skin Collagen Support is suitable for those with a vegan lifestyle.
Does Skin Collagen Support feature any sugars or artificial flavourings?
No, Skin Collagen Support does not feature any of these ingredients. The ingredients are meticulously screened by our skin researchers and are both clean and pure with no artificial colours or preservatives. It is important to review the ingredients list of collagen supplements e.g.: collagen drinks as many contain hidden sugars or artificial sweeteners.
Would you recommend Skin Ultimate for anti-ageing?

How long will it take to see results?
